Welcome to Animenia
Some years ago a friend suggested that I ought to set
up an exhibition to show my already quite large anime model collection
to the public, until I got onto the Internet however it was never really
practical to do so. This webpage is intended as an on-line display of my
collection.
I have seperated the models into two galleries, mecha and characters,
each gallery consists of a number of pages of text links with optional
thumbnail pages. The Featured model section takes a closer look at one
of my models.
I have also included a links page featuring sites releveant to my hobby
and for those of you unfamiliar with the terms used in anime there is
also a brief glossary.
Updates
14-04-2002 Added four new kits to the Mecha gallery and three to the
Chara gallery.
Virtual models

When I bought my first Bandai Master Grade kits I found that instead of
the usual painting, the box artwork featured a computer generated image
of the model inside. As I was already using 3D modeling software on my
computer I decided to try reproducing some of my plastic kits as CG
models.
I was quite pleased with the results and when I showed them on the net
I received some very positive comments. Originally I featured some of my
images on this website but I have now set up a seperate website just to
display my CG artwork. You can visit it at http://www.cg-lair.co.uk or
click the banner below.
